Spring breezes

I was tickled to be a previous winner on the Elisabeth Bell's World challenge, and part of the prize is the honor of being a guest designer, so here's my card creation, using the current theme of "butterflies".  I've used a number of die cuts for my embellishments, along with flowers and gems, and embossed the pink background die.  Hope you get a chance to enter -- it's an easy-peasy theme, and you could be a winner yourself.   Good luck !!

Beep beep

Now that spring has arrived, you'll be seeing more bikes, motorcycles, and scooters on the road.  This adorable scooter miss comes from Tiddly Inks and she is on her way, sight-seeing!  I've colored with prismas, added faux stitching, the circle framing around her are die cuts, as are the sun and clouds that I've put foam behind to pop them up for dimension.   The blacktop road is washi tape -- isn't it just perfect for this road trip creation?   Oh, and if you look close, you'll see my background paper has pink scooters on it, which is perfect - and, I worked hard at not covering it all up with embellishments this time around.

Spring planting

Spring has arrived . . . getting close to buying those plants and seeds to add to your gardens, like this cute gal from My Besties.  I've colored her with prismas, and added glitter to her flowers.  The flowers I've added have white brad centers, with punched/die cut foliage.   A lacy doily is tucked behind the image and a couple die cut butterflies added, with pearls glued on their bodies, and also the bottom corner of my image.  And, I used a spring flowered background as my starting point -- happy and cheery!

Butterfly wonder

This sweet little boy comes from Magnolia - and I can see where I'd be as enthralled as he seems to be, should a butterfly land on the flower I'm holding - how awesome is that.  I've framed the image by using die cuts, and the corners and hearts were done with punches.  Since it's a boy card, I've kept embellishments to a minimum.
Thanks for coming in to view my creation.

Pop out birthday surprise

These furry friends from Lili of the Valley have really cooked up a birthday surprise for someone!  I've colored with prismas, and although it doesn't really show up well, I've glittered the yellow bow/ribbon on the gift box.  A bit of faux stitching was done to put more focus on my image.  The corner is a die cut, as well as the sentiment and the framing around the image.  A tiny flower brad was added to the largest flower as its center.  And, voila, it's ready to be mailed off.

Park bench thoughts

This is Lydie, from the Little Miss Muffet Stamps store.  I was going to have her sitting on the ground at first, but then remembered that I have a die cut bench that she might work on.   I had some wood-grain cardstock that I used for the bench, so it looks authentic, and then I popped Lydie on it with some foam backing.   The grass along the bottom is another die cut, and then I added the little butterflies, putting pearls in the centers, and drew the dashes in for their flight patterns.   I randomly added enamel dots to the flowers already printed on my background paper and thus completes my creation.

Swinging with a friend

My image comes from Whimsy and I don't know who's cuter - the girl or her sidekick !!   Coloring is done with prismas, and the embellishments took over from there -- a bit of lace, die cut, doily, flowers, butterflies and pearls.  Thanks for coming in to view my creation.
